This is a two-month professional training course which gives the participant the opportunity to experience day to day activities of a trainee earth scientist. It starts with the teaching of the basic petroleum geology, then introduces participants to log analysis, seismic interpretation and subsurface mapping using the workstation. Finally, the participants will be taken through report preparation and presentation.

This course is suitable for new graduates, jobseekers, as well as new hires in the Earth Sciences and other professionals in the oil & gas industry tasked with the responsibility of estimating hydrocarbon volumes or exploration activities..

DURATION: Mon-Fri; 8am-4pm; 3 Months

This is a three-month professional training course which gives the participant the opportunity to experience day to day activities of a trainee reservoir engineer. It starts with the teaching of the basic petroleum geology, then introduces participants to log analysis, PVT analysis, decline curve analysis, material balance analysis, nodal analysis and 3D dynamic simulation using industry standard softwares. Finally, the participants will be taken through report preparation and presentation.
